About
Ok, you came here to look at what this “Absolute Presence” is all about—some kind of religion or what. Well no, it is my attempt to merge my personal blog and my business interests in one place. It may seem sort of strange to do that, but I figured I would try so—here we go.

Damian "Chip" Dizárd
This site was thought of by me—Damian”Chip” Dizárd a technology guru (I hate calling myself that, but couldn’t think of anything else) who has over 10 years experience with web development, television production and marketing/media consulting. If you are looking for a more formal description of my experience please click here to download my resume (.pdf).
For those who are wondering where in the world I am going with my business/mind here are some answers to the questions I have received recently, some may call them FAQ’s.
1. What is Absolute Presence and why does it say BETA?
Absolute Presence (AP) is the name of the company that I co-founded in 2002 for web development. In late 2007 I decided to take the company in another direction by offering more multimedia solutions and offering video production. The name stuck, plus I was always at the top of any trade show booklet and I owned the name so I decided to keep it. So the name was intended to help my clients know that we could create their web presence, and create it absolutely. Yes, it corny but it kept me gainfully employed for 6 years.
In software development and on some web sites you see the word BETA often, but I used it because this is a test launch of merging video/web/blog. So it’s a grand test—in the scheme of things.
2. Do you still offer web design/development services?
Yes, of course, that’s how most people know me. I have multiple contracts with clients in 2009 for web development services. I limit the amount of projects I personally take on, but I will refer you to some very highly qualified companies that will do a great job. I will be posting samples of my work, for now just contact me to see some of my sample work.
3. I see a lot of videos on this site, are you into video production?
Yes, I do. Producing/Editing and post-production are my specialty and I will continue to expand this field and post many more videos on this web site.
4. What don’t you do?
Well, a lot of stuff. I don’t do print design or any music, but give me some time, I may add that to my portfolio. You never know what the future may hold.
5. Do you still have employees and are you hiring and don’t you have a day job?
Whew, that’s a big question. Yes, no and yes! I do have people who work for AP and I currently work for Baltimore City Public Schools as a Media Production Specialist (basically I manage the schools TV Station and assist in the web site redesign and launch) and I am not hiring right now, but I am always looking for freelance talent. Contact me for details.
