Best solution to run Windows on a Mac
If you are a Mac user like me, there are some programs like Microsoft Publisher and Access that you still need to run on your computer. Prior to apple switching to an intel chip, you could not run these programs. Here are the options
- Bootcamp– a feature in OS X where you can run Windows natively. The only disadvantage is that you have to close all your mac programs in order to use it.
- VM Fusion- a new player to the virtualization market, but they have gained a solid base.
- Parallels- as of this post they are on version 5 and in my opinion are the best choice for virtualization, especially if you are using Windows 7.
View the video from the Wall Street Journal’s tech columnist, Walt Mossberg, I seem to agree with him on this software.
