Black in America 2–Principal Steve Perry
In July I watched Black in America 2 on CNN and I was intrigued about what he was doing with his kids at Capital Prep in Hartford, Connecticut I work full- time for the Education Channel 77 Baltimore City Public Schools and these stories may seem hard to find, but there are many principals, community partners and most importantly teachers across the country making a real difference in the lives of our children.

A Very motivating story for any student struggling with personal obstacles.
This is what education is all about. I definitely love and applaud the work of this man. He's definitely been a modern day example of accepting nothing less. And a prime example of God working in him. I encourage every Black man or woman to read his book Man Up! It is definitely an eye opener. This man is my hero in field of education. Mr. Perry is a real hero.
