New Year, New Blog
Hello world! I am officially beta-launching my new blog and web site today–New Year’s Day. I have always felt that New Year’s Day is a time of reflection and a time to start fresh. I personally don’t like resolutions, but I like to reflect as I look back at two key things happened to me in 2008 which made it very different from past years.
- Birth of my twin daughters in August, Sanai and Gabrielle (Pics/Video)
- Accepted a full-time position in September as a Media Production Specialist at Baltimore City Public Schools/ Education Channel 77.
These two events along with many other small events have made 2008 a very interesting year–especially toward the end. I have a loving family and a job that I enjoy (especially in this economy). My focus has always been technology and that is my passion—from web to television and all things digital. I have gained a wealth of experience and I still have more to learn.
I look forward to sharing some of my musings with you in 2009 and beyond. Also, I would like to thank Dave Cavins my fellow-proud father of twins for helping me sort some of the design and implemtation out and Andy Russell who always takes good pics–even though I don’t like taking pics.
